Janni, Marlton, NJ asks
Q: I have water stains on my tinted car windows from a lawn sprinkler. Seems like it's embedded in the glass. What can I use to remove the stains?
Rich White, Aftermarket Expert
A: Start by cleaning the glass with a good quality glass cleaner. Then, clean the glass with a product known as detailing clay. Detailing clay contains a mild abrasive that removes contaminants from glass and other surfaces. Always follow the manufacturer's directions. You can also use a commercially available glass cleaner specifically formulated for removing water spots. These products contain a chemical formulation for this purpose. Once again, always follow the manufacturer's directions.
